Rodney Wayne Doster Sr.

Born on January 05, 1959 and passed away on April 12, 2026.

He was a 1977 graduate of Xenia High School and Retired as a Special Machine Builder.

Rod was preceded in death by his grandson Jeremiah Perrine, parents Arlene and Ralph Doster, father in law Arthur Long, and brother in law Terry Elliott.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Leann, his children Sarah (Bob), and Rodney (Kendall), grandchildren Kaden, Karmen and Kaelynn, great granddaughter Poppy, brother Keith Doster, Uncle Darrel Lieurance, Aunt Cheryl (Phil) Harris, Aunt Debi Smith, mother in law Margaret Long, sister in laws Alecia Elliott, Jean (Gary) Phillips, brother in laws Larry Long, Arthur (Wanda) Long, Michael Long, and many more nieces, nephews and cousins.

Rod loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren. He was in his element when camping at White Oak Creek and boating on the Ohio River with his river friends.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and vacationing on Hatteras Island in the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

Rod recently gave his heart to The Lord, and we rest in knowing he was saved and is with our savior.

A gathering of friends and family will be held at Tobias Funeral Home in Beavercreek Ohio on 4-23-2026 at 10 am, followed by a service at 11am. Pastor Todd Hoskins of Redemption Christian Tabernacle officiating.
