My condolences to Roger's family and friends.
 I worked with him at HQ AFLC/AFMC for many years.  He was a positively warm and funny person with the biggest smile.  I have many fond memories of him.  He also enjoyed a good joke or a well planned office prank.  Famously he emptied several hole punchers into the umbrella of a co-worker (kept on the coat rack for emergencies) and waited patiently for an end of day rainstorm.  That day finally came ..much to everyone's amusement ....as we watched him open his umbrella on the steps outside our building!  
He turned slowly and looked for Roger... and laughed.
Of course Roger got his payback.  The same gentleman borrowed some uniform pants from another military member.  These were at least 2 sizes too small for Roger.   Roger would hang his duty uniform on the same coat rack, so the pants were swapped.... These were for  times he was going to reserve duty after work.  He would change before leaving.  Finally the day came.   We all waited as he grabbed his uniform.... a few minutes later he was back.. laughing heartily and demanding his own pants back....lol.
Oh Roger.. you were so fun to work with!

Sincere condolences to Judy and family.  Remembering Roger well from many family visits at the Chernouski residence in Racine.  Loved talking to Rodger many times about automobiles.  Especially his experiences with his favorite cars!  RIP Rodger!!
