Rolanda M.A. Soucy

Soucy, Rolanda M.A. "Randy",age 63, of Fairborn, OH passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2012, at The Hospice of Dayton. Randy was born in Roswell, NM on September 27, 1948, the daughter of Roland J. Soucy, who survives her and the late Grace Y. (Dukeman) Soucy. In addition to her father, she is survived by her three children, Amber D. and husband, Michael M. Butler, Matthew B. and wife, Amanda Larrick, Aaron J. and wife, Melissa A. Larrick; two brothers, Rodger T. Soucy and wife, Cheryl Mobley, Gregory J. Soucy; three grandchildren, Alexander M. McBeth, Tamara E. McBeth and Camden P. McBeth. Randy, after being born in Roswell, NM grew up in Columbus and Beavercreek, OH. She was a graduate of Carroll High School, Class of 1966 and earned an Associate's Degree from Sinclair College. Over the years, Randy was an active member of St. Luke and Mary, Help of Christians Parishes and most recently attended Mary, Queen of Peace Parish at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Randy was a former employee of the Universal 1 Credit Union and had worked as a Home Health Care Aide. She was involved in many volunteer activities and was very talented in arts and crafts, especially with ceramics. Prayers will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 28, 2012, at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 9:30 a.m. at Wright-Patterson AFB Chapel #2 (Mary, Queen of Peace Parish) located in Kittyhawk with Chaplain, Major Mitchell Zygaldo, U.S.A.F., presiding. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 27, 2012. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to either, The Hospice of Dayton, St. Jude Childrens Hospital or the St. Vincent dePaul Society.
