Hinch, Ronald L., age 69, of Kettering passed away on Friday, August 10, 2018, at Hospice of Dayton. He was born on August 7, 1949 in Dayton to the late William O. Hinch and Rita Mae (Dyke) Hinch, who survives. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 41 years, Kathryn (Kopp) Hinch in 2013 and two brothers, Thomas and William Hinch. Ron is survived by his mother, Rita; his son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Bryan Hinch and Dr. Hadeel Abaza and their children, Mazen, Jad and Hala; his daughter and son-in-law, Nickie and Trent Woodzell and their children, Keira and Theron; brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Kathy Hinch. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ron retired from General Motors, Delco Moraine Division, and was a veteran of the United States Army. He was an active and involved member of The Church of the Ascension and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Prayers will be held at 9:45 a.m. on Thursday, August 16, 2018, at the Tobias Funeral Home-Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. at The Church of the Ascension, 2025 Woodman Drive with Father Ed Pratt as the celebrant. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 15, 2018.
