Goodbye to you my lifelong friend. My last conversation with you over a month ago, was a great one. For over an hour we spoke about life and the many aspects of it. I never imagined it be our last.
Your passing deeply saddens me. May God have mercy on your soul and may you rest in peace........

I will miss forever, what I have been missing for the last 20+ years.......your keen intellect, your razor-sharp wit, and your twisted and much appreciated sense of humor. I hope that when you get where you are going, that you get to see our dear friend Grantland again. Rest in peace, my old friend.

I hold wonderful memories with you, Roy. You know I love you and I always will. This is such a tragedy to such an amazing man with the biggest heart for all, no matter what. Your sense of humor, our banter and deep discussions and your overall happy self will always have a special place in my heart.
Til we meet again, RIP Roy Boots.
