Samantha "Sammy" Anders

Anders, Samantha “Sammy” age 16 of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023. She is survived by her mother, Anna Irwin; step-father, Mike Hines; father, Christopher Anders; maternal grandmother, Jean Henderson; paternal grandparents, Jenny and Dave Gard and Donnie and Kathy Fitzwater; as well as her great-grandfather, Norman Anders. She is also survived by her half-sisters, Alexandria Henderson, Michaela Hines, Brooklyn Mora, Brianna Anders, and Addison Gard; half-brother, Carter Anders; step-brother, Wyatt Hines; aunts and uncles, Clara (David) Hitch, Debra Henderson, Lexi (Brandon) Brown, and Matt (Sarah) Gard. Sammy was also loved by her additional family through Mike who include: aunt and uncles, Brittany, Joey, Noah and Cole Hines; grandparents, Karen and John Wavra, and Mike and Rheda Hines; as well as her boyfriend, Jackson Overturf. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Billy Joe Henderson, and maternal great-grandmother Vera Jean Kahle. Sammy was a rising senior at Carroll High School, a dancer with the Dwyer School of Irish Dance and a member of the Girl Scouts. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 3 pm until 7 pm on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at the Tobias Funeral Home-Beavercreek Chapel.
