Sean loved music of all kinds from the time he was brought into this world and had an uncanny way of remembering all the lyrics to any song he had heard just once. He was passionate about the outdoors; hiking, looking for arrowheads, or unique rocks. His love for fishing ran deep and started at a very early age from fishing early mornings on Lake Cumberland with his Grandpa Reagan. This passion grew throughout his life with many fishing trips to Canada over the years. He would often refer to getting on the river with his kayak, as his “Church”. He was an avid reader and loved to discuss the array of topics with those close to him. Most importantly, Sean loved his family deeply.
At the heart of Sean’s life were his two children, Brian and Betty. They were his greatest source of pride and joy, and nothing mattered more to him than his love for them. He was a wonderful, loving, engaged father, and they meant the world to him.
Sean had a wicked funny sense of humor and a razor-sharp wit. Those that were lucky enough to be in his presence were always gifted laughs on Sean’s behalf. He brought laughter to any table he was present at. He was a dedicated friend, and when he loved; he loved hard. If you were lucky enough to be in his presence, you usually left a little lighter of heart.
Sean is survived by his beloved children, Brian and Betty Reagan; parents, Tom Reagan (Gina Leake) and Mary Ellen Sheffs (Garnett Traylor), sister Katie Batner (Tony Dillingham), nephews which he adored, Declan and Kallen Batner, Shae Dillingham; stepbrothers, Harrison Leake, Levi Traylor (Ashlie) and stepsister Taylor Leake, aunt Patti (LaPorte) Sheffs, uncles Jim LaPorte and Phillip Reagan, cousins Brian LaPorte, Dan LaPorte, Andy Reagan and Erin Remillard as well as many other loved ones.
He was preceded in death by both sets his grandparents Michael H. and Betty Reagan, John F. and Mary Sheffs, uncles Gary Reagan, Michael E. Reagan, Jay Sheffs and Tom Sheffs.
A celebration of life will be held on November 12th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Tobias Funeral home in Beavercreek, OH. Address: 3970 Dayton Xenia Rd, Beavercreek, OH 45432.
Sean will be deeply missed by those who loved him. His memory will live on through his beautiful children Brian and Betty, the moments he shared with his family and friends, and the stories they will carry forward. We invite you to carry the beautiful legacy of Sean Reagan forward with you and to share it often and always.
