Sharon L Hartley

Sharon L. Hartley, age 74 of Centerville passed away Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati after a series of illnesses. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary; stepfather, Wilbur; and father, Elmer. Survivors include her daughters, Wendy Hartley and Robin (Bill) Hartley Ferguson; a sister, Pam Cooke Hodson; brother, Jim Cooke; stepmother, Kapsoon Cooke; a granddaughter, Morgan; several nieces and nephews. She grew up in Springfield, Ohio, was married in 1962 and raised 2 daughters. She was a flight attendant for TWA and a Registered Nurse. She was a care giver to many throughout her life. She loved to travel, enjoying several trips to various countries with family and friends. Sharon volunteered for and supported many charities but loved being a Mom, Grandmother, Sister and Friend. A Memorial Service will be held 4 pm Saturday Feb. 2, 2013 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Ave at Rahn Rd. A Gathering of Friends will be from 2-4 pm prior to the memorial service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The Christ Child Society of Dayton, OH or the American Heart Association Great Rivers Chapter.
