Shirley J. Baker

Baker, Shirley J., age 81 of Wilmington, OH, passed away on November 4, 2022. She was born in Shippenville, Franklin County, PA to the late Theola and Joseph Galbraith. Preceded in death by her husband Richard A. Baker, Sr.; son Derek Courson; and brother Jimmy Galbraith.

Shirley is survived by her sons and daughters in law, David and Kathy Courson and Carl and Marcia Courson; step-children: Ray and Sherry Baker, Rick and Val Baker, and Sharlyn and Brian Naylon. Also survived by numerous grandchildren, William Courson, Travis Courson, Caitlin (Courson) Hayes (Jared Hayes), Brad Courson, Jessica (Courson) Doyle Pitzer, Dustin Goodwin, Rick Baker III, Rob Baker, Peyton Naylan, Shannon Naylan, Brady Baker, Carson Baker, Dylan Baker and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Shirley worked at Ohio Bell, then AT&T, once retired she sold PARTYLITE products for many years. She was a member of the Eastern Stars. She loved her dogs and cats. She was an avid traveler, going on may adventures with her husband and grandchildren.

A Gathering of family and Friends will be held to honor Shirley on Friday, November 11, 2022 from 5-7pm at Tobias Funeral Home, Far Hills Chapel.
