Shirley J. Banks, age 82, of Dayton, Ohio passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2025. Shirley was born in Lake City, Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Kennith Banks, and her best friend Frances J. Banks.
Shirley is survived by her daughter's: Melissa M. Dennis and Theresa D. (Brian) Stomps, grandchildren: Aaron J Banks-Dennis (Kristen), Kennith Noah Stomps (Emily M.), Madison Stomps, Shane Dennis, Emily Stomps, Sydney Stomps and McKenna Fisher, great-grandchildren: Ryleigh, AJay, Roselynn, Maleah, Legend, Ares, Phoenix, Joeigh, Tilly, Kaeden, Azalea, Magnolia, Oliver and Salom, sisters: Margaret Hunley and Helen Gambrel.
A visitation for Shirley will be held Wednesday, January 29, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Tobias Funeral Home, 3970 Dayton Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM.
Shirley will be laid to rest in Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville, Ohio.
