Shirley Ann McClanahan, 94, of Washougal, Washington formerly of Kettering, Ohio went home to be with Her Lord on April 29, 2025. She was born in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of Harry & Lucille (Dunham) Warner. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Dwight (Mack) McClanahan whom she married on June 1, 1950 in Dayton, Ohio.
She is survived by her children - one daughter & son-in-law, Patti & Roger Boone; three sons & daughters-in-law, Pastor David and Bonnie McClanahan, Tim and Pat McClanahan, and Dan and Linda McClanahan. She is survived by fourteen grandchildren: Angela Wilson, James McClanahan, Renee Martinez, Jonathan McClanahan,Katherine Klarenbach, Hannah Hartman, Joey McClanahan, Kara Welborn, Danielle Hoffman, Krista Gallardo, Jenna McClanahan, Joshua Boone, Andrea BooneMichael, and Melissa Culp, as well as their spouses and families. Also surviving eighteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by siblings, Don Warner, Mary (Davis) Warner, and John Warner.
Shirley was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother to her family. Over the years, she lived in Ohio, Tucson, AZ, Albuquerque, NM and Washougal, WA. She loved her children and grandchildren, and her face would light up when she talked about them. A kind and loving woman who served the Lord all her life.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 3:30 pm at Tobias Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel, Pastor David McClanahan officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Atrium Medical Center Foundation, One Medical Drive, Middletown, OH 45005
