Family and Friends of Stan and Gertrude:
My family and I just learned about Stan's passing. We are truly sorry for your loss. He was such a great neighbor to our family (the Dean's). He shared his kind and gentle nature with all of us. I will be forever grateful for his watchful eye over my mom. Thank you and you will be missed!

I hadn't been ready to do this but we buried my father yesterday, on September 11, at the Dayton National Cemetary and so I must say my goodbye but not forgotten. Dad has been my guide and mentor thorughout my life and I know he will continue to watch over me just as my mother has. I miss you dad! You will be a part of me forever and that is something that cannot go away. I will miss you more than words can convey but I know you are in a better place. I just want you to know how much I love you! Your daughter, Desera

Stan was one of the first to welcome me at the CZ club when I moved to this area. He was always ready to chat and was genuinely interested in what I was doing. We could always talk about our professions and our hobbies. I will always remember him for his many kindnesses and his courage and determination in the last years of his life. Helena Gerrard

Grandpa, you will never be forgotten. I will miss talking the Reds and Buckeyes with you. I remember when I was a boy walking with you along the railroad tracks. I also always enjoyed the toys you would make. Thank you so much for being a great grandpa and for being a great husband to grandma. Until we are reunited one day, I know you will be looking over us...

Stan and I were co-workers with the Ohio
Department of Taxation. I had the honor of working with him during my career. He was very good at what he did and the department was blessed to have him on their staff. I consider myself a better person for having known Stan. God Bless Stan and his family.
