Stanley James Lairmore

Lairmore, Stanley James “Jim” passed away unexpectedly Saturday, February 18, 2012 at his home in Dayton, Ohio. He was born April 6, 1954 in Dayton. Jim was preceded in death by his father and mother, Irvin and Irene Lairmore. He is survived by his children: Travis (Ann) Lairmore of Kettering, Anicia (Chase) Whisenhunt of MO, and Michael (Steffanie) Harris of Dayton, grandchildren: Kylee and Evan Lairmore, Haley, Chase, and Hannah Hoskins, and Noah, Logan, and Aiden Whisenhunt and Miranda and Michael Harris. He is also survived by great-granddaughter Hailee Church. Jim is survived by his brothers, Bob and Bill Lairmore, John Dixon, as well as his sisters, Nancy and Becky. He is survived by a close nephew William (Melanie) Coleman and their children William Jr., Kelsie, and Chad. Jim is survived by his former spouses, Brenda Harris and Peggy Grubb, and current girlfriend Cathy Thompson. Jim was a loving father. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was an employee of B&B Tile for over 30 years. Memorial services will be held at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME- Belmont Chapel, 648 Watervliet Ave, Dayton, Ohio, 45420 on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 2PM with Rev. Brooks Heck officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1PM until the time of the service. The family requests no floral tributes; in lieu of flowers please make a contribution to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
