Sue Ann Cline

CLINE, Sue Ann, of Beavercreek, Oh, passed away at age 87 at Trinity Community of Beavercreek on Wednesday, October 3, 2018. She was born in Fort Wayne, IN, to her late parents Fannie Lou Etta and Lee Van Myers on December, 14 1930. Sue was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Carl E. Cline; her son Kent D Cline; her brother Lee Van Myers II; and her sister Nancy Dowds. She is survived by her sons Mark and Kathy (Burda) Cline and Scott A Cline; grandchildren Luke H. of Austin TX, and Clare M of Honolulu, HI. Sue was a graduate of West Alexandria High School. She received her LPN in 1972 from Kettering College and went on to work for Kettering Medical Center for a number of years. Sue was a member of Hawker United Church of Christ for 66 years, which her husband helped build, and they were the first couple to be married inside the church. She was an avid volunteer for a number of different organizations, including Trinity Community of Beavercreek. A funeral service will be held at 10 am on Monday, Oct. 15 at Hawker United Church of Christ, 1617 Longview St in Beavercreek. A visitation for Sue will be on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018 at Tobias Funeral Home, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd in Beavercreek, from 4-6 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Sue to Hawker United Church of Christ.
