On September 21, 2025, a beautiful soul returned to peace, Susan Meyer — a remarkable woman of creativity, beauty, strength and boundless love for family. Born in Toledo, Ohio to Leobelle and Raymond Weikinger, who preceded her in death, Susan carried forward their spirit of resiliency, laughter and connection.
Susan was the beloved wife of Todd Meyer, and the devoted mother of Tara Meyer and Jena Meyer. She was a proud grandmother to Zoe, Jaleigh, Trenton (Emily), Dillan, and Ashton, and a delighted great-grandmother to Rue and her unborn baby sister.
Known for her vision to bring love and light through beauty and design, Susan had a gift for creating spaces that carried both elegance and comfort. Whether through breathtaking botanical gardens, thoughtfully curated interiors, or her signature “mimi soft” textures, she brought warmth and artistry into the lives and homes of many. Her creative touch transformed ordinary places into sanctuaries of peace and comfort.
Susan’s love for children was one of her greatest joys. She welcomed not only her own, but every child who crossed her path, embracing them with love and making them feel part of her home and heart.
She is also remembered and cherished by her siblings — Sharon (Tom), Butch (Sharon), Monnie (Don), Bernie, Mike, and Mark — as well as an exponential circle of cousins and extended family who were touched by her presence.
While Susan’s passing leaves an unfillable space, her legacy lives on in the beauty she created, the love she gave, and the many lives she touched.
A family service will be held to celebrate Susan’s life. In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to honor her memory by donating to Hannah’s Treasure Chest, so that Susan’s spirit of love and care may continue to wrap around children-allowing them to feel the warmth, love and comfort she unconditionally offered in her lifetime. Condolences may be sent to www.tobiasfuneralhome.com
