Dear Steve,  Colin, Ian and family,

I am heartbroken to hear about my dear friend Sue! We have been friends since our sons were in preschool!  I have so many great memories of my times spent with Sue!  We enjoyed a stitchers group, tennis,  a little golf, a few art lessons, lunches, and dinners!  One would be unable to measure the joy and love she had for Steve, Colin and Ian, which grew to include her daughter -in- laws and her five very special grandchildren. She was very proud of all your achievements!  Tom and I send our deepest sympathy! I will miss her so very, very much! Love Jaci

Dear Steve, Colin, and Ian.  My heart is aching in hearing this news. Sue was such a good friend to me and we shared many interests.  But, it was Ian and Colin who were the bright spots in her life.  You two had no greater supporter or ally; no matter what, she was there for you.  She loved you more than life itself and was always in your corner.  I cannot fully express what I know in my heart about how proud she was of you both and how you lived your lives as sons, brothers, husbands, fathers, and doctors.  And Ian, she was also incredibly proud of your years at West Point and in serving your country around the world.  You have my deepest sympathies.  And she was also proud of her daughters-in-law and grandchildren, who  brought her immense joy and further reason to love her family.  And it goes without saying that Steve was the love of her life and she enjoyed every minute spent together.  You are all in my prayers and I believe that Sue is in Paradise with the other Angels now.  May she rest in peace.

Our sympathies to Sue’s entire family, especially her beloved husband, Steve. I am truly in shock and devastated. Sue was a wonderful, caring, funny, inspiring, and intelligent friend. We were both from WVA and talked about our memories there including Ravenswood, her hometown. We both attended West Virginia University- and both of us went through the same medical technology program. In recent years, we both became grandmothers and enjoyed telling stories about our precious grandchildren. We had a wonderful group of friends who met monthly for dinner and we all could talk for hours catching up on everyone’s busy lives. I will miss her. RIP, my friend.

We are so sorry to hear of Sue’s death.  We have such good memories of times with you through MVS…games, school activities, and Sue’s famous luncheons for some of the MVS moms.
Sue was always willing to volunteer to help with a smile.

I have been Susan’s stylist  for many years. We became friends and had several mutual friends. I was heartbroken when she told me of her illness. I will most certainly miss our times together. Love to all!

To the Rymer family,

Sue was my good friend, confidant and fellow Miami Valley School mom.  Our son, Doug,  has many great memories of Ian and the Rymer household, and of Sue's famous mac-n-cheese.   
 I will miss our weekly phone conversations about a current art project she was working on or any little or big thing that was going on.  I will especially miss our martini lunches at Brio or Cheesecake Factory.   We solved many of the world's problems during those lunches.... 
There's a special place in heaven for you, Sue, and I expect you to be keeping an eye on me from up there...til we meet again, RIP
