She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Gorby (Keith) of Cincinnati, Ohio, Judy Bryan Boyer (Jeff (Deceased)) of Laura, Ohio, and Linda Gerber (John) of Troy, Ohio; and by her son, Ken Bryan (Anna) of Cincinnati.
Her grandchildren include Jenn Cole (Will) of Blanchester, Ohio; Sarah Belcher (Nyk) of Silverton, Ohio; Bryan Gorby (Michelle) of Pleasant Ridge, Ohio; Daniel Gorby (Lily) of Silverton, Ohio; Ben Boyer (Melissa) of Piqua, Ohio; Nate Boyer (Mandi) of Troy, Ohio; Joe Boyer (Brooke) of Pleasant Hill, Ohio; Liz Allen (LaCoy) of Englewood, Ohio; Esther Garrett (Seth) of El Paso, Texas; James Boyer (Camilla (fiance)) of Cape Coral, Florida; Naomi Kaiser (Jake) of Troy, Ohio; Joshua Boyer of Laura, Ohio; Amy Deeter (Stefan) of Sidney, Ohio; Kenny Smith (Katie) of Dayton, Ohio; Katie McConnell (James) of Troy, Ohio; Leah Koerner (Jim) of Cincinnati, Ohio; Kelly Sue Brouk (Justin) of Cincinnati, Ohio; and Becca Manger (Ian) of Troy, Ohio; 28 great-grandchildren, (with one expected in 2026); her sister in law, Enid Dover (102 years old) of Xenia, Ohio. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and close friends.
Suzanne was preceded in death by her loving parents, Hazel E. (nee: Weidner) Dover and Kenneth T. Dover; her beloved husband, Charles Bryan, who passed in 2017; her three brothers, Winton, Darl, and David (Ginny); and her son in law, Jeff Boyer; great granddaughter, Zara.
Suzanne was born August 27, 1932 in Dayton , Ohio. She was a direct descendent of Benjamin Van Cleve, the first school teacher and librarian of Dayton. Graduated from Fairview High School and Otterbein College. She taught at Trotwood High School and subbed in North Kansas City Missouri Schools. She was a member of the Church of the Cross United Methodist where she was a member and Otterbein Lebanon United Methodist Church.
