THOMPSON, Sylvia M., age 89,of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Monday, October 23, 2017. She is preceded in death by her husband Chester D. Thompson II, and a brother Earl Sperry. Sylvia is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Chet and Sharyl Thompson, grandchildren Khalid Mustafa, Amira Shokeh, and Mohammad Mustafa, great-grandchildren Rami Mustafa, Amina Mustafa, Amir Mustafa, Najwan Shokeh, Jeanan Shokeh, Laila Shokeh, Dalia Shokeh, and Ryan Shokeh, sisters Imogene (Bill) Lackey, Shelva (Scott) Ray, and a host of nieces and nephews. Sylvia retired from Shillito Rikes after 41 years of service. Funeral service will be held 11:00AM Friday, October 27, 2017 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-Far Hills Chapel, with Pastor Jim Gifford officiating. Burial will follow in the Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
