Thinking of you today and how much I miss you!

Seems like only yesterday when I would walk through the front door in McLean and there would be such a happy face and welcoming smile to greet me.  And sometimes husband Bob would come in and add some more laughs and commentary to add to the joy of the meeting.  Miss them both!

How can it be three years ago that we lost sweet, happy, smiling, dear Teresa?  I never drive into McLean without thinking of her waiting for me at the shop door, ready to laugh and tell stories of dear Bob,  asking about my life, showing me the latest fashion, exhibiting that professional radio voice,  and talking of her dog. I miss her but the memory of her stays fresh as she had a zest for life that I still try to emulate.

How can it have been a year since we lost dear Teresa?  I don’t go anymore to the McLean store because she’s not there to greet me with her smile and a happy story about Bob in her radio announcer voice, but I know she’s now happy and at peace and lovingly looks down at us all each day.🙏🏻

I never walked through the door of the consignment store without being greeted so warmly by Teresa and then she showed me every item I might like.  She was so lovable, so personable, had that radio voice and loved Bob, her husband, more than anything.  She was always happy and never complained, no matter that she had just finished a cancer treatment, no matter that the last customer had a complaint, and no matter that three people wanted her complete attention at the same time.  God blessed us with her presence in our lives, and I am so grateful to have known her and Bob.  I will always remember them both, even though they moved away from DC.  They remain treasures of the heart.

We were cheerleaders together in high school. She was kind funny and crazy. She was also there for me at a time when not too many people were. She actually helped her name my son. She was a beautiful soul.

She was amazing. I can still here her laugh. I will miss her very much. The world is a a bit more dim without Theresa in it anymore. So thankful for the time I did have with her. Rest easy sweet friend. 💗

Teresa had a zest for life like no other.  With a commanding presence, vivacious personality, mesmerizing radio voice and love of people, she positively influenced all who came in contact with her.  As a clerk at a McLean, VA thrift shop, she catered to my every wish, found items she knew I would love, and made me feel so welcome whenever I walked through the door.  Her husband Bob loved her deeply and the bond they shared was magical.  Thankfully, I was able to write an article about her struggle with cancer so readers could know what true courage looked like.  She personified the best of humanity as she sung praises to her Lord during the darkest of moments and worried about others while her own bout with cancer was so painful.  I will miss her laugh, her love for life, and her passion for all that was important to her—family, friends, Bob, and most of all, for that miracle she so wanted on Earth but has surely now found in Heaven.

Teresa was a most beautiful woman . A woman full of joy and a great spirit for life. Teresa could always enjoy a bellow aching laugh, a wonderful sense of humor. She was loved by so many....  vivacious, funny, charming, high strung, forgiving , faithful, so much energy, loyal and could brighten any room with her smile. As much as a loss it is blessing to know she is in heaven. She is probably already on the board of directors there managing everything. Prayers to Bobby and her family . So sorry for your loss.
