Thelma Fischer

Fischer (Gayheart)( Bultman) ,Thelma, was born in Hindman, Kentucky on November 26, 1923 and passed away April 7, 2015 in Naples, Florida surrounded by family and friends. She married Lawrence Bultman in 1945, soon moving to the Dayton area where she was employed in the food service industry for many years. She retired in 1986. After the death of her 1st husband in 1993, she re-married John Fischer in 1996. She remained married to him until his death in 2005. She spent the remainder of her life enjoying her family and friends , sharing her jubilant spirit and infectious laugh with those who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by: (2) Husbands- (1st) Lawrence Bultman, (2nd) John Fischer, Infant son - Lawrence Paul Bultman Jr. Father - Grover Gayheart , Mother- Bertha Gayheart (2) Brothers- Herschel Gayheart, Chandler Gayheart , Sister- Alma Gayheart , Beloved brother –in- law- William (Bill) Denney (Nadine), Sister in law- Herma Gayheart (Herschel) and niece Kelly Martin (JoAnn). She is survived by: (2) Daughters- Sandra Powell (Larry R) , Debra Jacobs (Bobby) (4) Grandsons Larry M Powell (Pattie) , Timothy Powell (Nikki) , Jason Jacobs (Heather Thomas) , and Justin Jacobs (Alicia) (5) Great grandchildren- Lindsay, Allison (Larry M) Timmy , Maddi, and Evie (Tim) (4) Sisters- Edith Ratliff (Ward), Nadine Denney- Randall (Ron Randall), Ethelene Russell ( Walter), JoAnn Martin (Gary) (1) Brother- Tom Gayheart (Dianna) (1) Sister in law- Colleen (Combs) Garyheart (Chandler) Her loving caregiver- Penny Slone and a host of adored nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. All greatly loved, but too numerous to list individually. (You were all her favorite kids.) Funeral Service 12 Noon Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at the Tobias Funeral Home (Far Hills Chapel), 5471 Far Hills Ave. Pastor Gary Favor officiating. Interment Valley View Memory Gardens. Visitation 11 am till the time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
