She retired from Clinton Memorial Hospital where she worked as a phlebotomist and lab technician. She also worked at Greene Memorial Hospital as a surgery tech for a time.
Aside from her parents, Thelma is preceded in death by her husband Jewell Wayne Mullikin, brothers, Dennis Lynn and Kenneth E. Sargent, and son, Kenneth Wayne Mullikin.
Thelma is survived by her sister, Frances Marie Veach (Sargent), children, Joseph (Judy) Mullikin of Dayton, and Teresa (Kyle) Hutchinson of Fairborn. She is also survived by grandchildren, Dr. Tyler (Brianna) Mullikin of Oklahoma City, Dylan (Kimberly) Mullikin of Dayton, Nathan Mullikin of Dayton, Josh (Rachele) Corn of Xenia, Angiela Hutchinson of Fairborn, Samantha (Dustin) Caskey of Union, and Kyle Hutchinson II of Fairborn, and three great grandchildren.
Thelma’s final resting place will be next to her husband at Valley View Memorial Gardens in Xenia, OH.
