Theodore “Ted” James Stotts passed on May 29, 2026, at the age of 69, at Hospice of Dayton. He was born on November 9, 1956, and resided in Dayton, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard “Ted” Stotts and Eileen (Price) Stotts. He was also preceded by a sister, Linda Pak and brother Roy Donovan, as well as his son, Matthew Ryan Stotts. He is survived by a sister, Pamela Dorsten and husband Dale. He is also survived by a nephew, Jeff Pak and wife Tammy, a niece, Lisa Saum and husband Herb, Michael Dorsten and wife Kerry as well as numerous great nieces and great nephews. Ted was a retired Dayton Police Officer, serving on the force for more than twenty years. He enjoyed spending his retirement with family and friends and a cold Budweiser. Friends may call at the Tobias Funeral Home Belmont Chapel, 648 Watervliet Ave. from 10-11 AM on Thursday, June 18, 2026 where a memorial service will be held at 11 AM. Inurnment will be in Calvary Cemetery following the memorial service on Thursday. Donations in Ted’s memory can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Hospice of Dayton.
