AMANN, Thomas J. age 90 of Dayton, OH passed away Thursday, January 19, 2017. He was a 1944 graduate of Chaminade High and received his engineering degree from the University of Dayton. Thomas was a member of Lion’s Club International. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hans & Amelia (Fischer); brothers, Paul Amann, Monsignor Robert Amann and Richard Amann. Thomas is survived by his wife of 43 years, Phyllis (Clevelle) Amann; a sister, Rita (Chuck) Baxter; children, Dr. Robert Amann. Roseann Amann (August) Lange, Angelina Amann (James) Napier, Lori Todd Grote and Kim Todd (Dan) Vidler; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Thomas and Phyllis spent 25 years of retirement at Fairfield Glade, TN. Mass of Christian Burial, 10:30 am Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at St. Henry Catholic Church, 6666 Springboro Pike Miamisburg, OH 45449.
