I was saddened to hear of Tom’s passing. I was thinking of how to describe a man that has had such an influence in my life. I really can’t put it all into words in this short note. But from an early age thru my adult life I was blessed to be in his presence. He taught by example, of how to be responsible, hard working and love his family. There are so many memories of all the great times with him and the family. From the great euchre games, which turned into poker, to games of horse in the backyard, the fun of playing softball, attending the police softball tournament, going to Clancy’s. Spending Christmas with him was magical that always ended with singing Christmas songs and Tom even had the sheet music so you couldn’t say you didn’t know the words and of course the singing On Top of Old Smokey with him was so much fun. Tom and Karen treated me as one of their own and for that I will always be grateful. Mike, Jaynie, Jeannie and the entire Bistrek Family you all are in my prayers and that prayer is for comfort and peace during this difficult time.

Love you all,
Bubba

I’ll never forget the sweet memories of get togethers for cards, football and bowling. Heck, sometimes just because it was Friday and why not!!
Your dad actually taught me how to enjoy “a right beer” lol.
Jayne, Jeannie and Mike and families,
I’m so sorry for the loss of your dad, It’s been an incredibly trying and painful year for all of you.
Your always in my thoughts and prayers.
Love you all.

Grandpa, it’s been almost 2 days and it still doesn’t seem real. There’s so many stories and so many memories, there would be books. I will really miss your quick dry humor jokes. That’s what the whole family will miss. No matter when I called you would make my day with the best joke ever! Then I would call my dad and tell him how silly you were. You will be forever in my heart and always missed. Love you to the moon and back grandpa.

Tom was my second cousin, my mom Virginia ( Jablonski) Greene loved him like a brother. Tom was in my parents wedding. I always had a good time when Tom was around. I also have fond memories of his parents, Uncle Eddie and Aunt Mary. It was always fun when we all got together at the Polish Club. He can now have fun with my mom and his parents.

Grandpa, you’re such an angel and it’s so hard to even begin to realize you’re gone . You are such an amazing soul that we’ve all looked up to our whole entire lives. You and grandma have built the best family I could’ve ever dreamed of having. The most kind, genuine, loving people all created from the two of you. Your love for grandma and long fulfilling marriage has set an example for Zach and I that we intend to follow to the fullest. I love you more than words can ever say. I hope you and grandma are dancing to Elvis in the golden floors of heaven , while you throw the mail at her ! 😂 I’m also so happy ryder had the chance to know you and love you and be surrounded by such an amazing person. The three of us love you so much grandpa . ❤️

I can not believe you're gone. I miss you so much already you were the best grandpa a girl could ever want. You made me laugh till I cried, you never let me feel bad for myself or about myself. Most importantly you taught me what family is and what it means. I love you so very much. You were my best friend and someone I could count on for anything, even a good laugh when I wasn't having the best of days. My heart is completely broken but I know you're up there with Grandma and Uncle Jim having a ball. Watch over us. I will miss u everyday. I love you!
