
BEACH, Timothy J. (Tim) age 53 of Beavercreek, went home to be with our Lord Saturday, April 28, 2012 at a Hospice home near Boston, MA. Tim traveled to Boston in early March to continue treatment to fight a glioblastoma multiforme brain tumor. He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Helen Schroeder; and brother-in-law, Rob Schroeder. Tim is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Karen (Schroeder) Beach; children, Ashley Beach & fiancée Paul Garcher, Stephen Beach & wife Traci, Renee Beach & boyfriend, Ryan Sample; parents, Joe Sr & Celeste Beach and Lee Schroeder; his siblings, in-laws & their spouses: Joe & Brenda Beach, Dave & Connie Beach, Greg & Kim Beach, Teresa & Larry Bedwell, Rita & Fred Scheidweiler, Julie & Tom Armentrout, Lisa & Ron Snyder, Nick & Julia Beach, Phil & Melanie Beach, Tony & Maureen Beach, Mary & Jonathan Seiter, Cathy & Don Obringer, and Ron & Ruth Schroeder; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. Tim graduated from UD in 1981 and earned his Masters in structural engineering at UC in 1994. He began his career with LJB Engineers and continued as President of CON/SPAN Bridges Systems and later President of Contech's Bridge Division. To provide opportunities for others, he formed PermaTrak North America. Tim was a Faithful Flyer and supporter of the University of Dayton. He also supported and belonged to many other personal and professional organizations. Tim lived his life with a strong faith, family values and integrity. To quote his physician, “Tim's grace, fortitude and tenacity in fighting this awful tumor inspired everyone he came across. He has given the world a great gift with his legacy.” A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Tim’s life will be held Tuesday, May 8, 2012 from 5:30 to 8:30 PM at Tobias Funeral Home-Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at 3:00 PM at St. Helen’s Catholic Church, 5080 Burkhardt Rd., Fr. Dave Brinkmoeller presiding. Reception to follow at the UD Arena Flight Deck, 1801 Edwin Moses Blvd. In lieu of flowers, tribute gifts may be made payable to “Dana-Farber Cancer Institute” and directed toward “Dr. Reardon’s Research”.
