Travis was born on July 8th, 1956, in Centralia, Illinois to Travis Allen Sr. and Evelyn Hill. He was the oldest of eight children. He liked golf, loved fishing, and cherished his family more than anything else in the world.
Travis was hard-working and dedicated. He served for 21 years in the Air Force and another 22 years in civil service. He was known for his leadership and tenacity.
Travis is survived by his wife, Molly Allen, three children, eight grandchildren, six siblings, and many friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly. He was greeted in heaven by his parents, Travis and Evelyn, and his sister Frenchelle.
A Visitation will be held on August 30, 2024, at 10:30 am at Ascension Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow starting at 11:00am. Donations can be made to Knights of Columbus, a cause close to Travis’ heart.
