Vernett Bolton

She was born in Utica, New York on December 12, 1946 to the late Allen F. Parker and Helen M. (Cashdollar). Vernett attended Whitesboro High School before going on to nursing school and working as an intensive care nurse. Vernett married Merrill R. Bolton on October 7th, 1972. They moved to Beavercreek, Ohio in 1976 where Vernett retired from nursing to stay at home with her children. Vernett enjoyed many hobbies including bowling, golf, fishing, quilting and gardening.

In addition to her parents, Vernett was preceded in death by her husband Merrill Bolton and her brother and sister-in-law Jim and Diane Parker. She is survived by her children: Alison (Greg) Burchett, Tammy (Kelly) Sparks, Roni (Mark) McGee and Edwin (Lisa) Bolton; her brother: Chuck (Dot) Parker; her grandchildren: Brittany Sparks, Dani (Brad) Opp, Lindsey (Kyle) Stires, K.C. (Bailey) Sparks, Aaron (Bailey) Burchett, Krista (Colin) Hoke, Cassa McGee and Samantha McGee as well as 9 great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and other friends and family members.

Memorial service 1:00pm Saturday, February 24, 2024 at the Valley View Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Ohio’s Hospice of Central Ohio would be greatly appreciated as their help and support over the last year was immeasurable.
