Vincenzo (Vince) Ferraro, age 69, of Oakwood and Washington Township, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 6, 2023, surrounded by his three children and dear partner, Deborah. Vince was born on January 26, 1954 in Bella, Italy. Vince was the son of Antonio and Angelina Ferraro and the youngest of seven siblings. He and his family immigrated to the United States and settled in Dayton, OH in 1959.
While working and supporting his family, Vince graduated from night school with a Bachelor's in Business, from the University of Dayton, in 1982. Professionally, he had a successful career in manufacturing management for over 30 years. Personally, in a time where edited home videos were a rarity, Vince demonstrated a passion and unique talent in capturing special moments and major milestones to create cherished music videos for his family and friends to treasure forever. Over the past decade, Vince enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, and traveling the world with his partner, Deborah. A fast friend to all he encountered, he found pleasure in engaging in long conversations, playful banter, and sharing his love for all things Italian. Vince had an unmatched kindness and love in his heart for others. Above all, Vince (Papa & Nonno) enjoyed the simple joys in life, being in the company of family and friends, and celebrating the achievements of his children and grandchildren. Vince is survived by his beloved partner, Deborah Jenvey; his three children Antonio Ferraro (Jencie), Angelina Walther (Alex), and Annette Ferraro; grandchildren Mya, Enzo, Samia, Georgio, Julien, Dan, Jack, Emery, Hannah, Quinn, Reagan, & Urban, sisters Joann Zacher (Helmut) and Lina Cristiano (Pete), brother Mercurino Ferraro (Maddalena), and many nieces and nephews. In addition, Vince was a well loved "Cenzo" to Deborah's grandchildren and cherished by the entire Jenvey family. He is preceded in death by his parents Angelina (Mercuri) and Antonio Ferraro; sisters Rosina Sokolnicki and Annita Cristiano, and brother Antonio Ferraro. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to It Takes Guts. http://www.it-takes-guts.org/
