Virginia "Ginny" Ballard

BALLARD, Virginia Lee “Ginny”, age 90, of West Liberty, Ohio passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at the Heartland of Bellefountaine. Ginny was born in Dayton, Ohio to the late Harry and Marie Haines Brannum. She is also preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, John Ballard, and her brother Jack Brannum. Ginny is survived by their children: daughter Shirley(Greg)Koerner of Indian Lake, son Vincent(Joy)Ballard of Hillsboro, TN., grandchildren; Tami(Kerry)Leach of Centerville, James Lutz Jr. of Springfield, Jennifer(Jason)Helman of Piqua, Carissa(Andrew)Paavla of Indian Lake, Tony and Cassia Koerner both of Kettering, great-grandchildren; Katlyn and Rebecca Leach both of Centerville, Noah and Nolan Lutz both of Springfield, and Mikayla Helman of Piqua, sisters-in-law; Eleanor Ballard and Delores Wiles both of Dayton. In lieu of flowers contributions may be given in Ginny’s memory to Hospice of Logan County. Funeral service 1:00 PM Saturday, November 9, 2013 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-Far Hills Chapel with Pastor Larry Lutz officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
