Virginia Barbara Kinney

Kinney, Virginia B. “Ginny” age 87 of Kettering passed away Thursday June 23, 2016 at Walnut Creek Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond P. Kinney Sr., parents, sisters, and a daughter-in-law Elizabeth. Survivors include her children, Raymond Kinney Jr. and wife Linda, Dan Kinney and wife Teresa, and Joseph Kinney, Bonnie Spears and husband Jim; grandchildren, Sean, Nicholas and wife Rebecca, Grant, Kelsey, Mark and fiance’ Amanda, Megan, Zach, Drew, Abby and 4 great grandchildren. The most important thing in her life was her family especially her grandchildren. She was a graduate of Julienne High School, St Elizabeth School of Nursing where she has been a long time member of the St. Elizabeth Nursing Association. I n her nursing career she worked both at St. Elizabeth Hospital and for Dr. Lauderbach. She also worked in the cafeteria at St. Albert the Great Catholic School and was a long time member of St Albert the Great Parish. However the majority of her working career was spent at KAS Cable TV. Mass of Christian Burial will be 12 noon Tuesday June 28, 2016 at St Albert the Great Catholic Church 3033 Far Hills Ave Kettering, Ohio 45429. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 am until 11:30 am Tuesday at Tobias Funeral Home-Far Hills Chapel 5471 Far Hills Ave at Rahn Rd.
