Wanda Jean Sloan, age 78 of Dayton, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Hospice of Dayton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Sloan in 2001 and daughter, Karen Smyth in 2004. She is survived by her son, Robert Sloan of Dayton, and by four grandchildren: Courtney Ralston, Michael Eldridge, and Alivia Jean and Savannah Marie Sloan. Jean was retired from Lau Industries as the administrative assistant to the President. She was a Christian lady who was deeply devoted to God and her Church, and spent many years singing in the New Jerusalem Quartet. Her love for her children was boundless; she was her son’s best friend. Funeral services will be held at the Northridge Freewill Baptist Church on Friday, April 29, 2016 at 12 PM with Pastor Tim Hamilton officiating. Friends may call at the church on Friday, April 29 from 10:30 AM until the funeral begins at 12 Noon. Interment will be in Valley View Memorial Gardens
