Wayne Lee Farley

Wayne is survived by his beloved wife of 23 years, Cynthia Farley; his children, James D. Farley (Katrina), Adam Farley (Spencer), Jennifer Hellmund Brady (Edward), and Jason Hellmund (Jenny); his cherished grandchildren, Aryaunna Farley, Kyle Brady, Sawyer Hellmund, Avery Hellmund, and Matthew Hellmund; his great-granddaughter, Isla Hellmund; his sister, Janice Sipe (David); his brother, James Farley; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Wayne graduated from Beavercreek High School and Sinclair Community College. He proudly served his country in the United States Army for 15 years, including service in Vietnam and Germany. He was stationed at Fort Knox before being honorably discharged. Wayne was a proud member of American Legion Post 598 and the VFW. Following his military service, he enjoyed a long career as a machinist, retiring after 40 years of dedicated work.

Wayne will be remembered most for the love he had for his family. He never missed an opportunity to cheer from the sidelines at his children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events. He was an avid fisherman who found peace on the water and a lifelong car enthusiast. He appreciated life’s simple pleasures. Known for his strong work ethic, generous spirit, and willingness to help anyone in need. His quiet strength, kindness, and unwavering devotion to those he loved will remain his greatest legacy.

Services will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Tobias Funeral Home – Far Hills Chapel. Family and friends are invited to visit from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service begins at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens, where military honors will be rendered at the graveside.
