

Born on April 9, 1963, in Cleveland, Ohio, Wendy was the beloved daughter of Warner and Barbara Martin. Her unwavering faith in Jesus Christ shaped the way she lived. She was known for her compassionate heart, gentle spirit, generous nature, and her steadfast love for her family and friends.
Whether through a kind word, a listening ear or a heartfelt prayer, Wendy found countless ways to encourage and care for others. She found joy in birdwatching, playing pickleball and tennis, and cheering on her favorite sports teams with her family. Yet nothing brought her greater happiness than spending time with the people she loved.
Even during her courageous battle with cancer, Wendy remained steadfast in her faith. She chose gratitude over bitterness, hope over despair, and continued to encourage others with the same unwavering love and trust in God that sustained her throughout her journey.
Above all, Wendy treasured her family. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother and grandmother, a cherished daughter and sister, and a faithful friend. Her unconditional love, quiet strength, and unwavering faith touched countless lives and left each person better for having known her.
Those who knew Wendy will remember her servant-hearted spirit, warm sense of humor, graciousness, and the peace she carried even through life’s greatest challenges. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, compassion, generosity, resilience, and hope that will continue to inspire those who knew and loved her.
Wendy is survived by her devoted husband of 38 years, Bryan Erdmann; her children, Jason (Chelsey) Erdmann and Nicole (Nathan) O’Neel; her treasured grandchildren, Maisie, Oliver, and Elsie O’Neel; her mother, Barbara Martin; her sister, Deni (Brian) Benedict; and her brother, Scott (Tricia) Martin.
She was preceded in death by her beloved father, Warner Martin.
A celebration of Wendy’s life will be held on Saturday, July 11th at Fairhaven Church, 637 E. Whipp Road, Centerville, Ohio 45459.
