I hope you are doing good grandpa. Your funeral was today and it was very hard. Grandma held it together but I cried like a baby. I love you and I will always be your little baby. Thank you for everything papaw, I will always remember you. Gone but never forgotten. I will see you soon at the gate of heaven okay? I just want to let you know that I am taking care of grandma and everyone down here, like I promised. You always put everyone before yourself and was such an inspiration to everyone. If only you saw how many people were at your viewing and funeral papaw! I am so depressed and I am having such a hard time. I wish you were here so I could curl up in your lap and cry. I miss you so much grandpa. I will gladly have an ice cream cone from Jet freeze this summer. I will wipe away my tears because I know you are out of pain and smiling right now. See you soon papaw i love you.

So sorry for your loss of your DAD, GRANDPA, GREAT GRANDPA. Bill was such a great mentor for all of us who were students in his United Way classes. From Montgomery, Greene and Preble Counties, I will end this article this way : ( BILL WAS LIKE A " LIGHT HOUSE", IF YOU KNOW THE WAY, LIGHT THE WAY FOR OTHERS". BILL DID IT THE UNITED WAY !!!
May you rest in peace Bill . GOD bless your family. Bill, as a MENTOR, will live on as long as there is a United Way Agency. FROM: David M. Johnson, Vice President Local 1040 Retirees Chapter of Dayton, Ohio.

Thank you Bill for being such a kind and gentle man. Your kindness and greetings as an usher made me want to be one. You were a great example of a man of God. Thank you again and again.
