We were shocked to learn of Bill's passing and can hardly believe we will not see him this year zipping around on his lawn mower. We are the kind of neighbors that come out of hibernation each spring; and with the first nice days would wave and greet each other over the fence - catching up on anything of interest: family, cars, Buckeyes, weather, golf, fishing, lately...health. Our back fence greetings would continue until the first frost. He was such a nice man and good neighbor. Sadness fills us as we look next door and feel the emptiness, knowing we never said good bye. Our prayers are with the family and friends who knew him well.

My family pets have been clients of the Airway Animal Clinic since 1957. I was always pleased when Dr. Frey took care of our cats. He was very gentle and caring when he handled them. I truly missed him when he retired. My sympathies to his family for his loss.

May the family of Bill Frey take comfort in knowing that others care during this difficult time. A donation in his memory has been made to Hospice of Dayton from friends of the Class of 1960.

Enjoyed my fishing days with the Ohio bunch lots of memories with Doc and Pappy!  So long old friend , my thoughts and prayers are with all of the family and friends.

True story. Our last dog who has been gone now 15 years loved Dr. Frey so much that we would ask her if she wanted to go see Dr. Frey on the days to visit Airway Animal Clinic. She would run and grab her leash and drag it back so we could go. She truly loved him. Dr Frey was not only professional but a great vet and  a kind gentle man. After all these years I still remember his laugh and kind voice. I'm certain in Heaven he and Dr Pumpelly are surrounded and followed by many thankful animals. We too have gone to Airway Animal Clinic for over 40 years. Dr Frey and Dr Pumpelly ran their practice the right way. Good people. God Bless Dr. Frey.

Bill and his dad both were great friends!  They used to bring me Mike-Sells potato chips down to Florida because they knew how much I loved and missed them.  We will miss seeing Bill and his smile.

I have been going to Airway Animal for a little over 40 years and was very fond of Dr. Frey.  He was one of many of the reasons that clinic is the best.  He helped shape their standard of quality then and still.  Having Both Drs. Pumpelly and Frey with all the beloved ones we have lost gives us great comfort. Make God be with you at this most difficult time.  God Speed Dr. Frey.

I will miss all the laughter and bad golf jokes with you on the course. We all looked up to you for guidance on dividing up the teams on Sunday and I suspect we will be standing at the tee box on Sunday with tears in our eyes and not sure how to proceed. Doc you will be missed but always in our hearts.

The Angels will care for Bill. May he rest in peace.

My heart goes out to you, Tom, and your family at this sad time.  I believe we will all be reunited again and what a wonderful time it will be.  Until then, we have to live out the lives we were destined to lead.  I think of my loved ones who have passed as being on vacation and they're waiting for me to catch up later!
