Gonna miss Uncle Bill. I remember when we all would visit at Grandma and Grandpa Porter's for the holidays. We always would get a card game up. Uncle Bill would have me sit in the same seat - opposite of him. After a couple of years I finally notice there was a mirror behind me and it was tilted just perfectly. This explained why Uncle Bill always knew just the right card to play!!
Our thoughts and prayers are with Aunt Betty, Debbie, Bob, Becky and family.

I've fond memories of my Uncle Bill. I'll miss and always remember his gift as a story teller and entertaining sense of humor. He is dearly loved and will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers for Uncle Bill, Aunt Betty and family.

We're so very sorry of the passing of Uncle Bill. He was an excellent Uncle and quite an outspoken personality.Personally, I'll always treasure the memories of all the cookouts we were invited to and the amazing Porter tradition of the churning of the bucket for homemade ice cream! God bless you all!

I grew up knowing Bill and Betty Porter as the most wonderful friends to my parents, Ned and Judy Myers. I never spent time with him without laughing and feeling good. It is truly a loss to his friends and family that he has passed, however the Angels are singing joyously to have him! May God bless you in your time of sorrow.

I am very sorry to hear about BIll's passing.  We worked together at NCR over 30 years ago but Bill still has a special place in my heart.  He always made everyone laugh and did everything all out.  He was a positive, kind person.  Vicki Wilson

I will always remember Bill as one of the most stubborn persons around but deep down a teddy bear at heart.  He was very giving and I will cherish all the memories we had throughout the years.

Very sorry to  learn of Bills passing.  I had the pleasure of working in same department as Bill at NCR in Bldg. 26 and playing golf with Bill in our fun weeknight league.  Bill was always a great person to be around, always helpful if help was needed.  A very nice man and will be missed.  God bless.  Everett and Sandy Brown

I will also always remember Uncle Bill – a fantastic sense of humor, an infectious hardy laugh, he was one of my favorite Uncles.  He headed a typical All-American family.
