HERRING, Willie Lee, age 87, of Miamisburg, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2016 Heartland of Miamisburg Nursing Home. Willie was born on Tuesday, August 27, 1929 in Newton, Alabama to the late Major and Mattie (Beverett) Herring. He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Lucille Lee and brothers, Ralph and Pat Herring. Willie is survived by his wife, Marge Hutchins Herring; children, Willie Edward and William LaMar Speas of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Christopher LeMar and Michelle (Jesse) Coffield ; a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews, James Smoot, Glenn Herring, Debra Herring, Louise Ogleby, and Tinsey Mosley; and special friend, Sam Richardson Jr. Graveside service 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 23, 2016 at the Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 West Third Street, Dayton, Ohio 45428.
