

NIXON, Wilson Allen “Al”, age 65, passed away Friday, September 16, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents Amos and Mozel Nixon and his brothers-in-law Paul Hawkins and Garfield Wilson. Al is survived by his daughter Kathy Jane Western and her husband David J. Western; grandchildren Abby, B, and namesake Al Western; son Wilson Paul Nixon; sisters Pat Wright and her husband Jerry Wright, Lynda Hawkins and Jane Wilson; brother Mark Nixon and his wife Meri Nixon; close family friends Bob and Dolores Premus, Bob and Mary Jo Schroeder and friend and former wife Carol Stone of Westcliffe, CO. Al was brought up in Carrolton, GA and later raised his family in Panama City, FL. In his travels for work, Al spent several years in Oak Ridge, TN. He then moved on to Plano, TX, Washington D.C. and finally Beavercreek, OH for the past four years. He was a member of the Army and served in the Vietnam War. Al enjoyed gardening, fishing, and good food. The family will receive family and friends at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday, September 19, 2011. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 10:00 am on Tuesday, September 20, 2011. Interment Mt. Zion Park Cemetery.
