Alberta married very young and started a family soon after. She worked a full-time job and raised 6 kids while doing so. After retirement, her plans changed and she started a second career working in a nursing home in Falkville until she was in her very late 70's, when she was diagnosed with lung cancer. She was a firm believer in her faith and her life's mission was to help anybody in need. Until her last days she always mentioned to give whatever she had left to someone who could use it. She loved chocolate, and never missed an opportunity to sip on a Pepsi, especially if it was poured over ice.
The family would like to especially thank the staff at River City Center Memory Care wing for always going above and beyond to make her feel loved and comfortable, as well as Affinity Hospice Staff.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spring Ave Church of Nazarene.
