Annie Ruth Newboles, 94, of Decatur, passed away January 28, 2015 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery with Brother Doug Fields officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Ms. Newboles was born October 30, 1920 in Mississippi to Herbert and Annie Shappley Childers. She began working at General Electric in 1947 and retired in 1980. Ms. Newboles is survived by her sons, Spencer Childers (Libby) of Paducah, KY., and Michael Childers of Decatur.
