Betty King, 85, of Lawrence County, passed away on December 5, 2017. She was born on May 27, 1932 in Huntsville, AL to parents, John and Bertha Nance. Betty was a loving mother and grandmother. She lived a happy life and will be missed by all who knew her.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents and son, Arrie Borden Jr.
She is survived by her sons, Dan T. Kitchens of Trinity, Bob Kitchens of SC, Jessie C. Kitchens of Decatur, and Jackie Kitchens of Florida; one daughter, Theresa Jane DeVaney of Tennessee, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be family.
A Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, December 9, 2017, at 1:00 pm at Roselawn Funeral Home with Elder Henry Mobley and Elder Dan Kitchens officiating. A visitation will be on Saturday, December 9, 2017, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
