My Grandma had a beautiful life, filled with the love of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

It was unfair how she was taken so suddenly and that we were never given the chance to say goodbye. We will love and miss her.

Mom,

I keep wanting to pick up the phone and call you.  Just one more time would mean everything.  Its all been pretty overwhelming, so sudden with no goodbye.

You lived with such love.  Unconditional, never wavering, never judgmental.  You probably didn't know it but so much of you is in me..my emotion on my sleeves, my love of food..maybe that's bad  :)....and my belief in being honest and bringing integrity to everything I do.

You made a difference..in my life and the lives of so many..you parents and inlaws.  dad, your kids, grandkids and great grandkids...and so many friends and other relatives that have reached out to remind me how much they loved you and how much you meant to them.

I can only hope that I am remembered someday with such love.

Rest now and be with grandmas and grandpas and make sure you tell dad we all miss him.

My grandma had a beautiful and genuine soul. She always held to her convictions and was passionate in her faith.

I only wish I had more time, before I had to say goodbye.

     My grandmother was a true woman of God, who served Him most all of her life. She taught us to trust in God, always help those in need, to find joy in the small moments, to laugh often, and to make family a priority. She was a true example of unconditional love and gave it to us freely. She always let her light shine even in times of struggle, pain and sorrow. Her strength and determination will never be forgotten. 

     I believe that the love of a grandmother is unique. God must have given grandmothers to us to liven up our lives, to make our lives more complete, to make us well rounded and better human beings. She has never been just my grandmother', but my guardian, my best friend and my inspiration. 

     I will cherish all of our long talks about everything and nothing. Thank you for all that you were, for your beautiful soul and for giving me the courage to face any obstacle. Thank you for teaching me that I have hope in our Lord that I will see you again someday. 

     A beautiful life does not just happen, it is built daily by prayer, humility, sacrifice and hard work. --- You emulated all of these. I have no doubt in my mind that you are with our Lord. That you are with Grandpa Duane looking over us and protecting us. You will truly be missed. I love you to the moon and back!!!

Words fail me to express the sympathy, and convey the heart felt loose to your family. I know all who knew you were better to have you in their lives. 

When I met ya I was impressed by how you treated your family, and friends. I remember hearing a Preacher say that a person who passes away leaves memories, and that person will live on thru those memories. That being said I for one will remember you fondly!  When ya see Dwayne, and your mom & dad give 'em a hug for me!

Words are difficult, and hard to come by. I remember meeting you, and shortly realized the love you had for your family! Through good times & bad, a smile was on your face.

I remember hearing a preacher talking about the death of a loved one. He said that a person lives in the Heart and Memories of those left behind, and that means you will be with us for a long time.

Thanks, for being the person you were, and thanks for all you did for me!


My grandma was my best friend. She was my go to. I miss her so much already. I want to pick up the phone and hear her voice. I know I'm being selfish when I say that I wish she was still here and that she died way to young, but I'm glad she's no longer in pain. I'm glad her suffering is over. She was a sweet, loving and caring woman who would do anything she could for you if she was capable. She was one of my biggest cheerleaders in life and my life will not be the same without her in it

Thank you for always being there when we needed someone to talk to. Thank you for being a woman who was strong in the faith of our Lord. Know that the values and lessons you taught us never fell on deaf ears but will live on through future generations as we teach our children. Love you and will forever miss you

   We will miss you so much. We had a lot of fun times and difficult times that we faced together.  We were crying buddies and laughter buddies at weddings and showers and other family things. I'll never forget you and the laughs and talks we had. I wish we could've had more talks but I know you're no longer in pain. And finally with the love of your life Duane. It's definitely different without you here with us. You were a very special lady to us all. And my kids, husband, and I will miss you and love you forever.
