A memorial service for Carl Tutor will be today, February 1, 2015, at 3 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with Reverend Roger Jenkins officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Carl was born on December 9, 1932, in Mississippi to Homer and Maudie Tutor. He was retired from the Memphis Fire Department as a captain. Survivors include his daughter, Carloss Bauer; sons, Dean Tutor (Jennifer) of Jacksonville, FL, Mark Tutor (Tyra) of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Jordan Bauer, Thea Tutor and Zoe Tutor. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen, and parents. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.
