Theron is survived by his wife of 54 years, Charlotte French Hamilton; son, Bret Hamilton (Georganne); grandson, Isaac Raines; sister, Sue Jones (Mike); nephew, Chase Jones (Tonya); great nieces, Ashley and Breanna Jones; and great-great niece, Addy Lawson; brothers in law, Steve French (Pam) and Roger French (Jennifer). And several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Honorary pallbearers will be the 1960 basketball team of Snead State Junior College.
Theron was an avid Alabama fan. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and wood working in his spare time. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 27, 2017, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Roselawn Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 pm in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
