Funeral service for Chris Horton, 53, of Decatur will be Sunday, May 4, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Nicky Pressnell officiating.Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation is tonight from 5 to 8 at the funeral home.Mr. Horton, who died Thursday, May 1, 2014, at Decatur Morgan Hospital was born September 15, 1960, in Alabama to Arlin and Ginger Horton. A member of the Church of Christ and a graduate of Austin High School, he was a devoted University of Alabama fan. He worked for Decatur City Schools maintenance for over 30 years. He never met a stranger and was a friend to all.Survivors include a brother, Chuck Horton; and a sister, Roxie Horton, both of Decatur.
