Curtis worked for the cable industry for over 40 years through all the change out of the companies to present day Charter. He worked very hard for his family and was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was truly an animal lover, in all sense of the word, he rescued animals and had many pets. His pets were treated as members of the family, not just dogs, even up into his later years. He was a very quiet man, but his word was something you could always depend on. He treated people very fairly and loved his family dearly. He served his country from 1959 to 1963 and was a veteran of the Army.
Family pallbearers will be Matthew Petrazio, Michael Smith and Alston Roberson.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Wednesday, November 15, 2023. Service will be from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM then he will reside at the mausoleum at the Roselawn Cemetery.
Brother Steve Smith will officiate the service from Beltline Church of Christ. The church he was a part of for many years.
