Daila Marisol Santos, 2, of Decatur, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025. Her visitation will be on Monday, December 8, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Roselawn Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 AM in the chapel of the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Roselawn Cemetery.
Daila is survived by her parents, Juan Manuel Santos and Angelica Santos; sister, Paola Santos; brother, Jose Santos; grandmother, Maria Orozco-Chavez and grandfather, Pablo Silvar, grandfather, Valente Sanchez; grandfather, Jose Cruz Santos, and grandmother, SanJuana Irungaray; and many aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Juana Salas-Olvera.
Daila was a happy, spontaneous daredevil, wild, full of life, daddy and mommy’s girl. She loved dancing, singing, being adventurous, dancing in the rain, looking for the moon, and Little Angry Bird. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Pallbearers will be her father, Juan M. Santos and her uncles, Valente Sanchez, Hugo Sanchez, Jose Sanchez, Jesus Silvar, Ivan Silvar and Abraham Silvar.
