Dennis Ferguson

Funeral for Dennis Harold Ferguson, 62, of Tanner will be Sunday, July 15, 2012, at 4:30 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Kasey Harbin officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Ferguson, who died Thursday, July 12, 2012, at UAB Medical Center, was born February 1, 1950, in Jonesboro, Ark., to Cleatus and Mary Speckum Ferguson. He was the owner of Dixie Transportation. He was preceded in death by his father; one brother, James McDonald; and one son, Brian Ferguson.

Survivors include his wife, Regina Hunter Ferguson; one son, Shawn Ferguson of Tanner; one daughter, Jody Ferguson Hargrove of Cornersville, Tenn.; his mother, Mary Ferguson of Greenville, Mich.; two stepsons, Til Dillard and Clark Dillard, both of Decatur; brother-in-law, Tom Hunter and his wife, Katrina, of Tanner; one brother, Aubrey McDonald of Wayland, Mich.; two sisters, Linda Cook of Dongola, Ill., and Annette Grzybowski of Greenville, Mich.; five grandchildren, Nick Coggin, J.C. Coggin, Autumn Hargrove, Michael Boshers and Colton Cole; one great-grandchild, Karabeth Coggin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
