A visitation for Donnie will be held Tuesday, September 2, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Roselawn Funeral Home & Roselawn Cemetery, followed by a celebration of life service at 11:00 AM. Donnie will be laid to rest in Roselawn Cemetery.
Donnie is survived by her son, Donnie M. Sims (Rita) and brother, John Eddie Hammon (Gerlinda).
She was preceded in death by her father, John Hammon; mother, Annie Mae Hammon; sister, Gloria Hammon Miller and daughter, Angelia Carol Sims.
Donnie Sue was a wonderful woman who loved life. No matter the storms she faced, she loved and was loved by everyone. She loved her family, siblings, kids, parents, and friends beyond description. She was ready to meet her Savior.
Pallbearers will be Gary Hammon, Ricky Hammon, Danny Hammon, Mike Clemmons, Tommy McCrary, and Ronnie Montgomery.
Roselawn Funeral Home has the honor of serving the family.
