Funeral for Dorothy Wilson Hagen, 99, of Decatur, will be Monday, January 23, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Halbrooks and Dean Bowers officiating. Burial will be in Burningtree
Memorial Garden. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Memorial gifts may go to Hospice of North Alabama or your favorite charity .
Mrs. Hagen, who died Friday, January 20, 2012, in her home, was born February 3, 1912, in Arion, Iowa to William and Katherine Wilson. She was a homemaker who enjoyed feeding birds, flower gardens, and was a charter member of St. Luke United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank B. Hagen Sr.; great-granddaughter, Kimberly Freeman.
Survivors include two sons, Frank 'Butch' B. Hagen Jr. (Judy), and Michael D. Hagen Sr. (Marilyn); two daughters, Harriet Holland (Ted Sr.), and Georgia Hames (Harry); 6 grandchildren, Ted Holland Jr., Michael Hagen Jr., Barry Hagen (Heathier), Chris Hames (Katie), Melanie Hagen, and Katie Griffin (Tom); 16 great-grandchildren, Courtney Holland Camper (Cody), Shelley Holland, Tody Hagen, Hayden Hagen, Jack Hames, Lucy Hames, Frank Hames, Mattie
Alice Hames, Edith Hames, Henry Griffin, Justin Hagen, Alexis Petty, Mary Abigail Hagen, Tripp Hagen, Wilson Hagen, and Sam Hagen.
Pallbearers are Ted Holland Jr., Michael Hagen Jr., Barry Hagen, Chris Hames, Tom Griffin and Cody Camper.
